Crafted Kin Vendor Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Vendor Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the relationship between Crafted Kin ("Platform") and vendors who sell products through our multi-vendor marketplace. Throughout our platform, vendors are referred to as 'Verified Kin' or simply 'Kin'. By registering as a vendor on Crafted Kin, you agree to comply with these Terms.

2. Vendor Registration and Approval Process

2.1 Application
Vendors must complete the registration process and provide accurate, truthful information about their business, upholding the same integrity that Crafted Kin maintains.

2.2 Approval
Crafted Kin reserves the right to approve or reject vendor applications based on our quality standards and business requirements.

2.3 Account Management
Vendors are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of their account information and ensuring the security of their login credentials.

3. Commission Structure and Payment Terms

3.1 Commission Rates
Crafted Kin will charge a standard commission rate of 10% on each sale, excluding shipping costs. This rate may be modified depending on the vendor's specific plan/agreement. The commission will be owed by the vendor to Crafted Kin and should be settled as soon as possible.

3.2 Payment Schedule
Vendors are responsible for processing payments directly from customers. Crafted Kin does not hold or process any funds on behalf of vendors or customers.

3.3 Payment Methods
All transactions must be processed using either PayPal or Stripe. Vendors must agree to the terms and conditions of these payment processors and ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and security standards in handling customer payments.

3.4 Commission Settlement
Vendors agree to settle the commission owed to Crafted Kin as soon as possible. The software will automatically restrict accounts 14 days after they enter a negative balance or owe any amount to Crafted Kin. This restriction will remain in place until the outstanding balance is settled.

4. Product Listing Guidelines

4.1 Product Information
Vendors must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information for all products listed on the platform. This includes accurate and complete images of the product and all necessary disclaimers regarding the item, its processes, and any other required information.

4.2 Pricing
Vendors have full control over their product pricing but must comply with Australian Consumer Law regarding pricing practices.

4.3 Stock Management
Vendors are responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels and promptly updating product availability.

5. Shipping and Delivery Responsibilities

5.1 Shipping and Delivery Methods
Vendors must offer shipping and delivery options that comply with Crafted Kin's policies and Australian postal regulations.

5.2 Fulfillment Timeline
Orders must be processed and shipped within 14 business days unless otherwise specified in the product listing.

5.3 Tracking Information
Vendors must provide valid tracking information for all shipped orders through the platform's order management system.

6. Customer Service Expectations

6.1 Response Time
Vendors must respond to customer inquiries within 14 business days.

6.2 Returns and Refunds
Vendors must honour their stated return and refund policies, which must be clearly displayed and in accordance with Crafted Kin's policies and Australian Consumer Law.

6.3 Dispute Resolution
Vendors agree to work directly with customers to resolve any disputes in good faith. Crafted Kin will only intervene if direct communication fails to resolve the issue.

7. Intellectual Property Rights and Infringement Policies

7.1 Ownership
Vendors retain ownership of their intellectual property but grant Crafted Kin a license to use product images, descriptions, and vendor branding for marketing purposes on the platform. For all occurrences of marketing purposes, the individual vendor will be attributed as the owner and creator of that product, image, or other content.

7.2 Infringement
Vendors must not list products that infringe on third-party intellectual property rights. Crafted Kin reserves the right to remove infringing listings.

7.3 Payment Processors
Vendors acknowledge that by using our platform, they also agree to the terms and conditions of our payment processors, PayPal and Stripe. 7.4 Account Termination
When a vendor's account is terminated, all of their material and items are removed from public view on the Crafted Kin platform.

7.5 Social Media Usage
All social media reproductions or utilisation of vendor content will be done in collaboration with the respective vendor, with explicit use being detailed in each unique circumstance.

7.6 Marketing Attribution
For all occurrences of marketing purposes, Crafted Kin will ensure that the individual vendor is clearly attributed as the owner and creator of the product, image, or other content being used.

8. Termination Clauses

8.1 Termination by Vendor
Vendors may terminate their agreement with Crafted Kin by providing 30 days' written notice to vendors@craftedkin.com.au, including your vendor details and unique identifiers.

8.2 Termination by Crafted Kin
Crafted Kin reserves the right to suspend or terminate a vendor's account for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

8.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, vendors must fulfill all outstanding orders and settle any remaining commission owed to Crafted Kin.

9. Compliance with Australian Law

Vendors agree to comply with all applicable Australian laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Australian Consumer Law, Privacy Act 1988, and relevant tax laws.

10. Amendments to Terms

Crafted Kin reserves the right to amend these Terms. Vendors will be notified of any changes, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.

11. Payment Processing

11.1 Vendors are responsible for processing payments directly from customers using either PayPal or Stripe as the payment system.

11.2 Vendors agree to comply with all applicable policies and procedures of PayPal and Stripe.

11.3 Crafted Kin is not responsible for any issues arising from the use of these payment processors, and vendors agree to resolve any payment-related disputes directly with PayPal or Stripe.

11.4 Vendors are responsible for managing their own campaigns and voucher/promotion systems within the guidelines set by Crafted Kin.
